Why Do I Teach What I Teach and What are the Ethical Implications of What I Teach?
This week there have been many opportunities to learn about curriculum, including the UbD reading, 6 Facets of Understanding, and The A, B, C’s of Curriculum Design.
This journal entry is a chance to reflect upon the things you’ve done in the past and try to make connections to your new learning. Please watch this interview with Stanford professor Linda Darling-Hammond then ask yourself, “Why do I teach what I teach and what are the ethical implications of what I teach?” Be sure you integrate some of what Darling-Hammond shares in your response.
