For this assignment, you will explore research and theories from your book that are considered to be significant in shaping our thinking and understanding of psychological disorders. You will research your topic and create an infographic highlighting the key ideas and most important or interesting information. The infographic will be presented through the creation of a tri-fold brochure (pamphlet) you will submit.
- Imagine the Infographic brochure/pamphlet will be used in an initiative to help educate students about psychological disorders on campus.
- You must use THREE scholarly sources and cite those sources in APA format directly on the infographic brochure/pamphlet.
- Make sure you cite all images used with a minimum of a URL beneath the image.
- An infographic is to be bulleted and not in paragraph form.
To create the tri-fold brochure (pamphlet):
- Open Microsoft Word and scroll down the list of templates and find the tri-fold brochure template (see image below).
- Select your own color scheme and photos (pixabay, unsplash)
- You can also use Canva.com or freepik.com to create a brochure.

You might want to include the following information on your infographic brochure/pamphlet:
- What is it (your chosen disorder)? Define in your own words or paraphrase with a citation (in-text and referenced on your infographic).
- Symptom/s
- Treatment/s
- Preventable (able to be prevented)? If so, how? If not, state that and cite your source (in-text & reference list).
- Is it (your chosen disorder) hereditary? If not, state that and cite your source (in-text & reference list).
- Where can someone with this disorder go to get help…Hotline, Website, Office location in the area?
- A reference list in APA format with matching in-text citations.

Make sure your infographic brochure/pamphlet reflects accurate and clear information about your topic. An infographic uses sparse text, visual organization, and images to give a general overview of a topic. Your audience is a student who is not familiar with this theory or research. The infographic should be submitted as a pdf.
