He has had a certain attraction to a girl, but his longest-lasting relationships have been with two male university students. The religious orientation of the treating psychologist conflicts with homosexual behavior. What should be done in this case in light of the code of ethics? 

 2. Ana is an educational psychologist with more than 20 years of continuous work in education, where she has performed successfully both within school teams and in private practice. When she turned 45, she decided to change her professional practice and dedicate herself to couples therapy, gain some experience in that field and later undertake specific training. Although she remembers her undergraduate training and some readings, she has doubts regarding the methodology and contemporary theoretical approaches. For this reason, she decides to consult you as a colleague about the conditions and ethical demands that this professional decision entails. The following questions are raised by Ana: Is there an ethical problem in this decision or is it just a technical issue? Are undergraduate training and experience in school environments and in private practice sufficient for me to work as a couples therapist? Or is there some legal or ethical rule that requires specific training in this new field of professional practice?
