Prompt Discuss revolution and resistance as depicted in the Battle of Algiers. How does Frantz Fanon see colonial violence in Algeria?

There are no “right” answer to the assignment; there are many different ways of responding to the question, any of which can be effective. I am concerned with HOW you make your case. Your essay will therefore be evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Organization and Argument: the logic of your argument and the cogency with which you organize and present it.
- Evidence: The degree to which your argument, when not patently common sense, is supported by known or attestable historical evidence. Evidence mentioned in lectures or found in your assigned readings should be adequate to frame a short essay such as this one.
- Style: Clarity of your prose, proper grammar and syntax, punctuation, spelling and other writing mechanics.
