As this assignment requires you to accurately search bibliographic databases in only Ovid Medline, I am seeking an experienced writer with a deep comprehension of OVID MEDLINE, PICOS, and the ability to CRITICALLY APPRAISE the evidence using CASP CHECKLIST and be able to back it up with the citations and references. This assignment will assess your ability to search bibliographic databases in Ovid Medline and your critical appraisal skills by having you evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of an article that will be included in the assignment question (see the assignment brief).
Your search is assessed based on whether it is logical, and reproducible in Ovid Medline and combines appropriate MeSH terms with specific free text search terms with all operators used accurately. The decisions made in your search should be justified and search term use explained clearly.
You need to just present a single search strategy that the marker can faithfully reproduce in Ovid Medline. You should include MeSH terms and free text terms and you should justify your choice of terms (See the Ovid Medline examples).
Your Ovid Medline search bibliographic databases should be accurately reproduced in a Word table. Explaining why any PICOS concepts have not been used, use of both MeSH and free text search terms for concepts included, examples of specific phrases sought with free text truncation/adjacency operators etc.
Please do not apply if you have no experience in this field, as this assignment is worth 100% of the total marks for this course unit.
