FAST (Functional Analysis Screening Tool) and the MAS (Motivational Assessment Scale)

Students will administer the FAST (Functional Analysis Screening Tool) and the MAS (Motivational Assessment Scale) to a participant. Students must develop an informed consent for the participant to sign.  The FAST, MAS, and examples of informed consent can be found on Canvas.

Students will provide a brief analysis of the data (2-3 paragraphs) including the hypothesized function(s) and operational definition of the behavior(s). Students will need to upload the completed FAST form, MAS form, and brief analysis. Students must submit the informed consent in the Behavioral Assessment Assignment I drop box ONLY IF they remove any personally identifying information of the participant (e.g. names, ages, residence, etc.)

 

Grading and Point System:  The Behavioral Assessment Assignment is worth 8 points.
