Instructions:
You will reflect on and analyze how the concepts learned in this module facilitate understanding the leader’s role in organizational culture within social work.
1. Selection of program or social organization:
- The student will choose a socially focused organization or program of interest.
- He/she will present basic information about the program to the professor for pre-verification.
2. Research in the real scenario:
- The student will visit the actual scenario to analyze how leadership is exercised.
- A research method (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed) will be used to gather information.
- Possible activities include interviews with influential leaders, focus groups, interviews with directors/managers, interviews with organizational members, and analysis of organizations recognized for the quality of their services.
- Use knowledge and skills to analyze the information gathered from theoretical, empirical, and normative perspectives.
- Consider how a leader’s actions, decisions, and values impact organizational culture in social work, supporting arguments with concrete examples based on social work literature and research.
