Week 8 – Assignment: Formulate Assumptions, Limitations, Delimitations, and Summary

 

Continue to work on your draft based on the requirements listed in the ADE Proposal and Manuscript Template (school-specific) and the feedback and direction provided by your Chair. Do not submit your draft to the Doctoral Record until instructed to do so by your Chair.

Assumptions, Limitations, and Delimitations Subsection

  1. Discuss the assumptions along with the corresponding rationale underlying them.
  2. Describe the potential limitations.
  3. Discuss the measures taken to mitigate the limitations.
  4. Describe the delimitations along with the corresponding rationale underlying them.
  5. Explain how these decisions relate to the existing literature and conceptual framework, problem statement, purpose statement, and questions.

Summary Subection

  1. The summary should include mention of all major subsections in this section.
  2. It is a summary of the subsections; it should not be used to present arguments, conclusions, etc.

As directed by your Chair and at least once each week, upload your draft and click the Submit to Dropbox button. Do not submit your draft to the Doctoral Record until instructed to do so by your Chair. If you are not yet working on this subsection continue work towards your subsection in accordance with your Chair’s direction.
