How are scientific approaches used in methodologies for studying the brain-behavior relationship? When developing your CTA response also take into consideration the general principles of research ethics for conducting research on animals and human beings.

Primary source: firsthand reports in which the authors describe their own observations [examples: empirical journal articles].

Secondary source: secondhand reports in which the authors discuss someone else’s observations [examples: textbooks, magazines, blogs].

2. Apply APA formatting to reference list.
3. Refrain from using private personal experiences when answering the CTA question. This assignment is not a personal journal, it is a form of scholarly work.
4. To avoid point deductions, carefully review CTA Grading Criteria/Rubric.
5. Please save your CTA response as a Word doc.(PDF) and submit. 
6. Please be sure your response is APA formatted using black type font, 1 inch margins all around, no extra spaces between paragraphs. 
7. Format: Times New Roman, font size 12, double spaced, one-full page (be sure your written response is not under or over the page limit) with a separate title page, and reference page (Please review CTA example file located below). 

Five Criteria of the CTA: 

1. Student provided a response that was clear, concise, and relevant to the CTA.
2. Student provided a response with a sufficient attempt at APA formatting of in-text citation(s), such as including author name(s) and year of source in-text cited.
3. Student provided a response with a sufficient attempt at APA formatting of a reference list, such as including the author name(s), year, article title, journal title, URL. 
4. Student provided clear examples that aligned with the CTA question.  
5. Student provided a 3 paged APA formatted response with separate title page (1 page), response to CTA question (1 full-page) and reference page (1 page)
