LTERATURE REVIEW DETAILED OUTLINE ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
OVERVIEW
The purpose of this assignment is to aid students in the literature review research process and in
the organization and writing or the literature review.
OUTLINE
Develop a comprehensive detailed outline that logically presents the selected and approved BUSI
730 topic. A detailed outline includes a main heading and at least two sub bullets underneath
each main heading. Sources may also be included. Ideally, sentences may be filled in to make the
writing of the paper easier.
For example:
I. Introduction
a. Main thesis: The literature review assignment allows for the practical application
of the concepts that will be applied in a final dissertation/project (Source 2020).
b. Supporting thesis: If done correctly, all papers written may provide another angle
to be used for the final dissertation/project.
You would then continue with the various topic that you want to include in the paper.
Submit the detailed outline as a single Microsoft Word document. Begin the reference page on a
separate page, if you cite your resources.
