The question can be broad, but pick the one smaller point you are most interesting in. The goal is to produce a 5 pages paper that is written tightly. Writing tight is one of the hardest skills, and one that will serve you well in other classes.

Put your name on the paper
Use Word
Double Space with 1 inch margins.
Use 12 pt type.
Use spell check and grammar check.
Begin with a first paragraph that lays out your argument.
Each point you want to make should have its own paragraph
End with a conclusion.
You do not have to go to sources beyond the book, but make sure you site. Use quotes appropriately.
Remember a paragraph must have a minimum of 3 sentences.
When citing – Books are Bold, Underlined, or Italicized. Chapters and articles are in “” quotes.
