writing assignment / Question: Why was 1919 such a watershed year for the United States and the world?

 The goal is to produce a 5 pages paper that is written tightly about this question.  Writing tight is one of the hardest skills, and one that will serve you well in other classes.

Use spell check and grammar check.

Begin with a first paragraph that lays out your argument.

Each point you want to make should have its own paragraph

End with a conclusion.

You do not have to go to sources beyond the book, but make sure you site.  Use quotes appropriately.

Remember a paragraph must have a minimum of 3 sentences.

When citing – Books are BoldUnderlined, or Italicized.  Chapters and articles are in “” quotes.
