The reaction paper is to be typed after reading chapters 4, 7, 8, 14, 15, 16 from your required textbook labeled as Literature, Theater, The Musical Stage: Opera, Musical Theater & Dance, Life-Affirmation, Nature and Freedom. Your Comparative Reaction Paper is due by 11:59p.m. (Broward County local time), via D2L on November 12, 2024.
Use Microsoft Word, times new roman font, font size should be 12, and for each page include a right aligned header with your last name and page#. Double space your lines excluding your heading. Only your heading should be single spaced. Your paper should be divided into 3 sections with section titles in bold such as Compare & Contrast, Global Perspective and Work Cited.
The first page should consist of your full name, course id, reference number, days of week your class meets with time, my name, and the title of your paper. Please refer to my sample document for a sample heading format.
5 pages in length. There is no need for a title page. A works cited page is required after the 5th page.
Leave 1″ margins on the top, bottom, left, and right.
Use single spaces after full stops, commas, exclamation marks, etc.
Indent each paragraph.
Include in-text citations and a works cited page.
Do not forget to use the spelling and grammar check tool that is offered by Microsoft Word.

Compare & Contrast Choose 2 dimensions/concepts/themes/key words from your textbook and/or class lecture and/or your mind. Global Perspective After perusing through six chapters, state all the global issues and trends that comes to your mind that are interrelated with the development, cultures, roles, and practices of humanity. Based on what you have read, what would you change/modify in the world of the humanities to evolve and pacify issues in the contemporary world? State your conclusion based on summarized information from all sections of this paper.
Summary of Instructions for Comparative Reaction Paper
You are to peruse through six different chapters from your textbook known as Literature, Theater, The Musical Stage: Opera, Musical Theater & Dance, Life-Affirmation, Nature and Freedom. Choose 2 dimensions/concepts/themes/key words of your choice. Your 2 themes could be taken from lectures or the textbook or from your mind. For the Comparative Reaction Paper, it is divided into three sections known as Compare and Contrast, Global Perspective, and Work Cited. For the Compare and Contrast section, it should contain 2 paragraphs. The first paragraph should contain your thesis statement as well as the first theme in bold that connects points/information from all six chapters to promote a comparison. The second paragraph should contain your second theme in bold that connects points/information from all six chapters to promote a contrast. You are not comparing/contrasting one theme with the other. The first theme, stated in the first paragraph is used as a topic of focus to draw a comparison of information from all six chapters. The second theme, stated in the second paragraph is used as a topic of focus to draw a contrast of information from all six chapters. For example, if my first theme is social context, I am going to elaborate on similarities from all six chapters with focus on the topic of only social context. If my second theme is political context, I am going to elaborate on dissimilarities from all six chapters with focus on the topic of only political context.
