While observing, students will *record ethnographic field notes that focus on the community’s perception of and approach to your chosen diversity issue as well as your *personal reactions and
experiences.
This is your opportunity to add to the body of knowledge concerning diverse groups of people.
For this assignment, you must use the Field Work template to log and summarize no more than
2 hours per entry for a total of *4 hours of virtual or in-person ethnographic fieldwork.
You should be observing in-person at a place that helps you make observations about your
diversity issue. If needed, you can search for news segments or documentaries. You have access
to Kanopy through the MSU library with hundreds of documentaries.
