Consider yourself a
journalist. Interview and interrogate the biblical texts, context (social,
political, religious, etc.), and its characters. What are the pertinent
theological and
non-theological issues and concerns, and how does the biblical
material address these
concerns for ancient? How do we address them as
contemporary audiences? Write the
Weekly Review Article in a “Newsletter”
format (Word has newsletter templates). Include a
“scholar’s corner,” where
reflection on the particular readings is provided. Utilize Scriptural text as
well as incorporate additional readings supplied into the article. 500-650 words (or five pages) are required with a bibliography—critical reflection on the material covered
with the Scriptural texts and supplemental materials. Use as much of the additional materials (found in the
files) as possible and include them in the paper. Note: I AM STATING 21 SOURCES AS THAT IS THE TOTAL OF ALL THE FILES AND THE BIBLE TEXT. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE ALL THE MATERIAL IN THE
FILES BUT CITE WHAT YOU DO YOU.
