This would make your research question: How does ___effect people’s attitudes toward segregation?
These are the instructions
SOC 201: Annotated Bibliography Assignment
For this assignment, you need to find at least two peer–reviewed sources that address your topic
and research question. These must be academic, sociological sources about your topic (not
necessarily about New York City). An academic source is either a journal article, a book, or a
book chapter in an edited volume. It is a text that has been reviewed by experts. Use the library’s
online databases to find journal articles (SocIndex is your best bet).
Write an annotated bibliography for these two sources. An annotated bibliography is a short
description of a piece of writing’s main premise and arguments.
Reading these sources will help you to generate your hypothesis, which is your educated guess
about what kind of finding(s) you expect, based on the research to date. For example, if you are
studying the relationship between race and attitudes toward gentrification, do you expect White
residents to be more pro–gentrification than Black residents, and why? What relationship(s) do
you expect to find? The answer is your hypothesis. Provide it for your own project

This is my idea –
Does a segregated neighborhood affect the economic growth of the residents living in those areas?
For example
How likely is a person living in a segregated/oppressed community to move up in their social class compare to someone living in a much nicer unsegregated area?
