The draft needs to include, but is not limited to, the following elements:

- What measure(s) will you use to evaluate the proposed project? Reflect on the types of measures that were reviewed in your week 5 learning resources (structure, process, outcome).
- Having identified the measure(s) that will be utilized to evaluate the project, what data can you utilize in the evaluation process?
- Provide a description of the process for measuring the effect (e.g., observation report, utilization of an anonymous survey, utilization of pre/post implementation survey, chart review, etc.)

Ethical Conduct of Scholarly Activities
As you can see an ethical approach to scholarship begins upon inception of the project through the culmination of the activity and throughout professional practice. The prospectus to be presented to an IRB includes a discussion of the problem topic, PICOT question, literature review section, methodology, results, and recommendations.
The Belmont Report provides guidelines for the ethical selection of research participants, ethical conduct, and informed consent. The three ethical principles addressed are: respect for persons, beneficence, and justice.
Institutional Review Board
Depending on the design of a scholarly improvement project, the graduate nurse and/or the project team may be required to submit an application to an IRB for review relative to the protection of human subject.
- Herzing University has its own IRB which meets at regularly scheduled dates throughout the academic year. Read about the Herzing University Institutional Review BoardLinks to an external site..

Unit 6: Synthesis Matrix Table Continuation
Instructions
Now that are moving deeper into the literature surrounding your proposed project, it is imperative for you to stay engaged with review, appraisal, and synthesis activities.
Using the Synthesis Matrix Table you submitted in week 4, update the table with a minimum of an additional 5 resources of evidence. Meaning your updated table will now minimally include 15 resources.
Direct access to the article is essential for grading. Either upload all evidence along with your table or be sure an activated link is provided to ensure it leads directly to the article you are presenting.
