My research topic will be workplace violence in healthcare
facilities by mental health patients the facility to review is Mount Sinai in
Chicago Mental Health Unit. Answer questions based on what you can obtain from

governance policies that dictates specific operations?

DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES(405 ILCS 5/) Mental Health and
Developmental Disabilities Code.

landscape and layout for best practices and processes or suggested activities
that can influence organizational behavior

These may include organizational policies
and procedures, records, and archival evidence such as government or
agency-issued reports.

 

You can download such documents
from the organization’s website or ask the leader to share whatever information
is open for public review.

4) Are there any public records that can be obtained
regarding statistics. Admissions male – female or adult vs adolescent?

It’s ideal if you can identify a
number of workplace violence occurrences by mental health patients and the
public website it was obtained from?

 

 H.R. question Is
there a lot of turnover and if so, which role requires the most recruitment?

Example :Security assigned to psych
unit, nurses, psychologist, or support staff.

an idea of how the unit can be modified that would be a patient satisfier?  You can add a different suggestion however,
the expecting moms are not on the L&D unit as long because the staff are
afraid of the patients. Presenting a process that will allow expecting moms to
be present on the Labor and Delivery Unit the same amount of time that a
nonmental health Labor and Delivery patient would be present.

3)How long is the standard new
employee training?

Are they paired with others and if
so what is the general time line before being independent?

behaviors do you believe can change? Have you worked at any other psych
facilities and incorporated their practices in your current role and if so
please provide one improvement initiative.

7) leadership, communication, because you work on a
unit that has more WPV from patient to employee risk do you offer more employee
engagements or huddle time for hand offs than standard clinical units?

8) As a mental Health Department
Leader what are two departmental operation priorities that you frequently
review for alignment to minimize workplace environment occurrences?
