The dissertation paper required has a format that has to be
followed via the Hult DBA Dissertation Template. Key information is contained
in the Conceptual Paper, Remote Work Survey, Research Methodology and Research
Paper. The information contained is rather weak and would require polishing and
reorganization of the survey results via Structured Equation Modelling (using
the various methods to extrapolate the results properly and used to justify the
hypotheses). Also attached is a successful dissertation paper by the university
(Empowerment In Place) and the format of the finished paper needs to be close
to or exceed the quality of this paper. References are already included but
open to more.
The following is feedback from my supervisor:
• Double
check the quality of your data collected, to ensure that respondents are from
your intended survey population (in terms of location, age, remote working etc)
and only use data that fits into your research demographic.
• Use
Appendices for additional supporting information (e.g. Validation of your
questionnaire, justification of questions with literature sources etc., summary
Table with literature review with key outcomes, methodology used, sample size
etc.)
• Reconsider
hypothesis H5 which has three independent variables (teamwork, communication
and psychological well being)
• When you
justify the choice of research methodology, comment on usability of qualitative
data in social systems (not just quantitative), and you can include this as
part of future research
• For
references with more than two authors use XYZ et al., year
• Conclusions
Chapter could include Summary, Conclusions and Future work sections
• Spend some
more time thinking on Recommendations – you could include a summary Table with
information on recommendations, their priority, time scale, resources required
etc.
• Include
summary Tables and Figures throughout Chapters to showcase key results,
findings etc
• Comment on
implications for research and practice
of your research, how does your research contribute to research, what are the
key contributions of your research, how could practitioners use your research
findings to improve productivity etc. of remote workers and so on
