In five pages (that is, in no fewer than five pages, and no more than five and a half pages), using what we’ve learned from the so-far assigned parts of the They Say, I Say text:
- Introduce your reader to your essay;

- explain how one part of Nye’s challenge (from the assigned transcript) link for that http://bigthink.com/videos/bill-nye-on-philosophy could be straightforwardly applied to one of Descartes’s claims (from the assigned excerpts) (and please note, please do not argumentatively engage with one of Nye’s claims about majoring in philosophy), and how that part from Nye can be turned into a strong argument against one part of Descartes’ claims;
- explain how Descartes could reply to the Nye challenge from 2), above; and
