Description 10 Critical reflective accounts that focus upon the experiences of the practitioner in order to evidence competence (mapped to the domains and sub domains of prescribing competence) of the RPS Competency Framework

This is for independent prescribing for NMC registrants. The scope of practice in in Type 2

 diabetics in primarycare/general practice.

There are 3 reflection essays to be completed at 1000 words each using Driscoll 2007 reflection module. There are 3 domins to be covered.
 9.1 Improves by reflecting on own and others prescribing practice, and by acting upon feedback and discussion.
1.12 Understands the condition being treated, their natural progression and how to assess their severity, deterioration and anticipated response to treatment.
Domin 10 there is a pick of 3 only one of these needs to be done.
10.1 Works collaboratively as part of a multidiscipinary team to ensure that the transfer and continuity of care (within and across all care settings) is developed amd not compromised.
10.2 establishes relationships with other professionals based on understanding trust and respect for each others roles in relation to the patients care.
10.3 Agrees the appropriate level of support and superviosion for their role as a prescriber.
