******CLASSMATES DISCUSSION POST: *******

Hello Professor and classmates,

According to Anderson (2020), interventions refer to a systematic and planned series of actions or activities designed to improve the overall effectiveness, health, and performance of an organization. An intervention is a process where an organization actions to create and implement change.

Individual intervention addresses change in the individual which is an integral part of organizational change. If the individual does not adapt the organizations culture and climate it will prevent the organization to be successful in their change objectives. This can be done by encouraging their personal growth and development. These include administering individual assessments and instruments, coaching, mentoring, 360 feedback, and career planning and development (Anderson, 2020).

Team intervention refers to techniques and methods designed to change the culture of an organization and improve team performance. These interventions can include skill-based workshops, team activities, and exercises. A team can be a division of an organization or a small number of people with complementary skills who are committed to a common purpose, performance goals, and approach for which they hold themselves mutually accountable (Anderson, 2020).

Whole organization multiple organization intervention is designed to target changes in an entire organization or in more than one organization. Typically, such large organization interventions are designed to address issues that affect almost every member. Examples include such topics as the organization’s strategy, future direction, interaction with its environment, relationship to other organizations such as suppliers and local or national governments, mergers and acquisitions, customer satisfaction, and product quality (Anderson, 2020).

For the Succession planning problem encountered with A to Z app the whole organization intervention is required as the change will affect every member in the organization, it will also require a change in strategy, future direction and training of all employees.
