This Capstone paper is about Policies, Emerging Technologies, and the Cyber Threat Landscape.
We are basing the project on how AI can impact different sectors, what are the cyber risks, and need to come up with policy recommendations. In this case, it will be based on the Transportation sector.
Methodology:
Based the paper on this question: “How can AI impact the cyber threat landscape in these sectors? What policies can be recommended to reduce this organization’s cyber risks?”
I. Introduction
This paper will explore the intersection of artificial intelligence in three different sectors, such as energy, transportation and healthcare. The objective is to identify prevalent cyber threats, evaluate best practices for tech integration, and assess the role of AI in enhancing security measures.

AI in the Transportation Sector
1. Benefits of AI (Add more and good info about these three benefits)
a. Efficient and proactive traffic management: One important benefit of this emerging tech in the transportation industry is traffic management, which is an effective AI method to track traffic by collecting data and sending it to the cloud in real time. Data from different sources is analyzed by AI algorithms, such as sensors, traffic cameras and Maps or GPS devices.
b. Reduction of Operational costs: Companies can save operational costs by replacing some workers with machines, thus automating their tasks. Besides, AI-driven tools accelerate repairs and streamline maintenance.
c. Sustainability & Eco-friendly: AI contributes to sustainability in transportation by optimizing routes and improving fuel efficiency, thereby reducing emissions. AI can minimize idle times and unnecessary fuel usage by analyzing data such as traffic patterns & weather conditions, leading to lower greenhouse gas emissions (Patt, 2024). Smart driving can reduce vehicle emissions, while boosting fuel efficiency, thus helping improve air quality and combat climate change (Amena, 2024)
2. Cybersecurity Risks Caused by the Use of AI
– Case studies (Find good case studies about this, analyze it good, give your own opinion, what went wrong?. Compare cases. Focus good on this part of paper, it is very important.
3. Policy Recommendations
– Find or give recommendations or solutions. based on the risks found above. (This is the most important part, to come up with good and logic recommendations).
