The essay should be two pages of A4 and contain on a separate page the references. You are encouraged to use diagrams to explain your answer. Answers should be typed, 1.5 line spacing and use size 11 font.
You may want to consider semiconductors, metals, superconductors and insulators. You may also want to consider the allotropes of carbon, thermochromic materials and photocatalysts in writing your essay.
