You will be assessed as follows:
- Background (5 points): Include sufficient information about the health system and health system issue. Convince the audience that the issue is important and worthy of attention. [2 slides]
- Research question (4 points): Explain the research question and how it will help address the problem you have identified. [1 slide]
- Research proposed (10 points): Explain the research methods, data sources, research process, and analysis that will answer your research question. [3 slides]
- Audience and impact (4 points): Explain what the research will produce, who the research will be useful to, how the research will be shared with appropriate stakeholders, and how the findings from this research will improve the health system. [1 slide]
- Presentation skill (4 points): Ensure your slides are appealing, you stay within time, present in an engaging manner, field questions in a manner that indicates you have thought through your topic and are able to defend your decisions or accept reasonable input/feedback.
Peer assessment (3 points): You will also serve as audience for your peers’ presentations, and will be expected to provide insightful peer assessment and ask valuable questions when watching other people’s presentations.
