Extra Credit Assignment Guidelines: Speech Analysis of Brené Brown’s TED Talk 

Objective: Write a 500-700 word analysis of Brené Brown  TED Talk, “The Power of Vulnerability,” focusing on the concepts from Chapter 10: Style and Delivery from our textbook.

Instructions:

    1. Analyze Brown’s talk using three key terms or ideas from Chapter 10. Bold these terms in your essay. Discuss how Brown incorporates or falls short of these concepts in her delivery.
    2. Length: 500-700 words. 12-point font, ariel/TNR, double-spaced
    3. Begin with a strong thesis statement that outlines your main argument.
    4. Use specific examples from the TED Talk to support your analysis.
    5. Ensure that your essay is organized and flows logically from one idea to the next.
