This project will be considered as a research proposal (e.g., students will propose what research approaches they will take mixed method research, and how they will conduct it) with their own research questions by including
research components that were discussed in class.
the course content and of how the key elements of research, including problem, theoretical
framework, literature review, and method, can be used in an intersected manner.
Format: See the APA guideline book for the format. The research proposal should include all key
research components discussed in class. Given that this is a final project, in lieu of a final exam, it
must demonstrate the students’ deep understanding of the course objectives. APA style (7th
edition) is required.
Criteria: The final project will be evaluated based on the following major criteria:
• Apparent understanding of course content and the intersection of the concepts: It should
be clear that the student has an in–depth knowledge of the key research components (e.g.,
problem, theoretical framework, methodology, and etc.) and how they could be presented in
a cohesive manner.
as a promising researcher and scholar through a well–designed research project in an
organized and crafted paper.
Topic/Issues/Statement of problem:
Research purpose and siginigicance of study
Theoretical Framework( what and why choosing it, connect to the research question)
Literature Review
Research questions and hypothesis for qualitative and qunatative)
Research methods (mixed methods, how and why using for qualitative and qunaitative)
Methdology: Research design/data collection process/ sources (survey, experimental, or case study)
Research analysis (software programs, coding, and interpretation for both methods)
Ethical consideration
