For this week’s assignment, you will apply our knowledge of interventions with children to the case of Tony (Week 6 Case Study).

For the case of Tony: 

  • Complete a differential diagnosis: 
    • Highlight the symptoms you think are relevant to assigning a clinical diagnosis and their duration (when possible).  
    • List all potential diagnoses based on the symptoms you identified in step one.  
    • Identify your primary diagnosis.  You can have a secondary and/or rule-out diagnosis.  A rule-out diagnosis is when you suspect another diagnosis but do not have enough information to make that diagnosis.   
  • Discuss how you will screen for any safety concerns.   
  • Describe at least two interventions you can use to treat Tony based on your diagnosis.
