How are social skill workshops beneficial to autistic adolescents, and what can be done to improve them?

1. Choose a general topic that you want to research.
2. Conduct some research in scholarly articles on this general topic in your assigned groups. This step will take a
long time. You yourself will likely read or scan 30 articles. Take notes on the articles you read. Explain the
connections among the articles.
3. Finalize your research question based on your research.
4. Create at least 3 subheadings for your body by organizing the research you have conducted into major themes.
(Hint: This may be a good time to write an outline of your paper.)
5. Give each subheading a title. Under each subheading, synthesize the main research findings. In other words,
explain what multiple sources have said about a topic, citing every source in APA format. For each subheading,
you should cite at least 2 sources, but ideally more.
6. Write a clear topic sentence for each paragraph under the subheading that explains the focus and purpose of
that paragraph.
7. Use sufficient research as evidence to support each topic sentence—again, incorporating more than one source
in many paragraphs, and citing every source in APA format. Paraphrase sources whenever possible (90% of the
time), and only use direct quotes if absolutely necessary.
8. Repeat steps #4, 5, and 6 for all 3 (or more) subheadings in the body.
9. In 2 or 3 paragraphs, write an introduction for your body that explains context for your topic, any definitions of
key terms, why this topic matters, and basic context for what you will explore in your paper. Use sources as
needed in your introduction. Clearly state your research hypothesis.
10. In about 2 paragraphs, write a conclusion for your literature review. The first paragraph should restate your
research focus and explain the key takeaways of your paper. The second paragraph of your conclusion should
make recommendations for further research based on what you learned. There is no need to cite sources in the
conclusion.
11. Write or edit the references page. Ensure you have a minimum of 10 sources cited throughout the paper.
12. Write a cover page.
13. Double check in-text citations.
14. Revise your word choice as needed to be sure it is clear, specific, and unbiased.
15. Be sure that your sentences and paragraphs connect together cohesively and that ideas and paragraphs
transition easily.
16. Edit and then proofread the paper before submission.
How Your Literature Review Will be Organized:
 Cover page in APA format
 Introduction: 2 to 3 paragraphs providing background and context for your lit review, ending with your research
hypothesis
 Body: At least 3 subheadings (with at least 2 to 3 paragraphs each) that all explore themes related to your
research question; each subheading should cite a minimum of 2 sources
 Conclusion: 2 paragraphs restating your focus, takeaways, and recommendations for further research
 References: At least 10 scholarly sources cited here and throughout your paper.

I did provide all the sources, and a few more that I belive bring my point to a head! I also provided the feedback I got from a tutor, and my final starter literature review for help and rewriting. My professor has also told me that some first person is acceptable but overall the findings should be in thrid person,. Please no AI, also please no plagarism, make sure  the sources are valid and eligble to see. The Final Review is in Word Document
