What are the basic functions of chartering and marine insurance and their impact on shipping and on international trade?

There are some comments of my last essay:

Specific comments (if any):

*The instructions were not followed according to the guidelines especially regarding the internal structure of the Introduction. The Objectives and the Methodology part are missing. Also, the Brief description of the topic should have developed more. This part has to be 1 page minimum.

Very good referencing.

You demonstrated significant knowledge on the toppic. Satisfactory understanding of the main thematic areas you explored. However, you should have used more sources to support your ideas. You have extensively use some source,s such as “Metych”.

Conclusions are clear but reflection is limited due to its size.

Evaluation: You have drafted a very good essay. Some extra remarks for improvement:

Introduction should be around 1 page and include the following with this sequence:

Brief analysis of the topic

Aims and Objectives of the essay: The Aim is about what you hope to do, your overall intention in the essay. It’s what you want to know. It is the point of doing the research. An aim is therefore generally broad. It is ambitious, but not beyond possibility. For example: The Aim of this essay is to “synthesize” or to “challenge”, or to “critically interrogate” …something – that is generally referred to the topic. While the Objectives are the specific steps you will take to achieve your aim. This is where you make the essay tangible by saying how you are going to go about it. Objectives are often expressed through active sentences. So, objectives often start with something like In order to achieve this aim, “material” or “data” or… will be “collected” and/or “produced” and/or “tested” and/or “measured” and/or “documented” and/or “analysed” and so on. Objectives are often presented as a (1) (2) (3) formatted list – this makes visible the sequence of big steps in the essay.

Methodology: In this part you must include a general definition or some type of overview of the approach that you will use in conducting your essay.

Conclusion has to be 1 page. Here we summarize the results of the essay, however you have done a very good effort. Well done.

*The template and instructions were followed according to the guidelines. The Aim, Objectives and Methodology are presented in a clear manner. Also, very good referencing.

You demonstrated significant knowledge of the main issues and concepts involved. Also, significant synthetic perception and coherent description of the subject. However, you should have used more sources to support your ideas. Chapters must be full of references.

Conclusions are clear but reflection is limited due to its size.
