what ways did the culture of the Renaissance impact the Protestant Reformation?
Describe the state of the
church and religious culture in Europe in the early sixteenth century. How did
movements to reform the church begin? How did they spread and cause a major
split in Western Christianity? How did the Catholic church respond? How did the
culture of the Renaissance travel outside of Italy? How do the events of the
Protestant and Catholic Reformations connect to developments associated with
the Renaissance? How did they create something new?
