Assignment #2 – Diversity and Inclusion Handbook – PART 2 (100 points)
Individually or with your group – Develop the hiring strategies for an organization that promotes diversity and inclusion. You will build on the document you started creating in Week 2. The Hiring Strategies section should outline 5-7 strategies and an action plan of how your organization can implement diverse hiring strategies. You will also include a summary of why this plan is needed.
Remember, this handbook is to be utilized as a resource for your organization, so make sure you create something that is relevant to your needs.
Looking Forward: This course aims to develop a diversity and inclusion handbook that leaders can use in their workplaces. You will work on segments that are related to the assignment and will combine them into one unified handbook.
Later you will add sections titled:
Strategies for Promoting Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace (Part 3 – due week 6)
Strategies for Managing Diverse Teams (Part 4- due week 8)
A page references, an Appendix, and any additional information necessary for your audience.
As you begin, make sure that your content is consistent with the other sections. Also, make sure that your audience is the main driver of your resource.
