1. Arthur – You have been working with Arthur in addressing his depression, social anxiety, and the medical disorder that causes him to laugh at inappropriate times. He is on medication for these issues but still struggles with his impulse control and laughing. Arthur lacks social skills and struggles with loneliness. He never knew his father and lives with his mother, who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. You have completed 12 therapeutic sessions with Arthur and he has shown improvement in the frequency and severity of his anxiety and depression. Insurance will no longer pay for additional sessions with you, so you need to discharge him from your agency, but Arthur can continue to participate with the support group you run for people with anxiety and poor social skills.
