Bisexuality in Queer History – Why Did it Take so Long to Join the Forefront of the Movement?

I would like a paper about the history if bisexuality, delving into the idea that it look quite a while for it to be fully and/or broadly recognized as an identity by the public and even by the queer community itself. It wasn’t until the 90s and early 2000s that it was more mainstream – such as when the acronym LGBTQ became more common. I want to know or theorize why it’s so erased and touch on bisexual erasure and the history of it.
