In module 7, you will create a 10-14 slide PowerPoint presentation which will analyze a health policy that addresses a population health risk or disparity. Be sure to use speaker notes for each slide and provide citations in the speaker notes. Keep slides succinct related to key points – avoid lengthy narratives. You want the slides to be appealing and dynamic to engage the audience – add images and/or graphics.

Slide 2 – Introduction – Provide general information regarding the role of health policy to influence population health, and the importance of health policy in addressing the identified health risk or disparity. Identify what the presentation will cover
Slides 3-4 – Health Policy Analysis – identify and describe a health policy – what is the intended impact of the policy on health risk or disparity?
Slides 5 – Ethical Implications – Discuss the ethical implications regarding the policy
Slides 6-7 – Alignment with National Population Health Initiative – describe the congruence of the policy with the national population health initiative such as Healthy People 2030. Be sure to explain your appraisal regarding the level of congruence that is noted.
Slides 8-9 – Recommendation for Enhancement – Recommend one strategy to further address the health risk or disparity. How would your strategy be implemented? What are the opportunities for interprofessional collaborative practice related to your recommended strategy?
Slides 10– Conclusion – provide concluding statements regarding the impact of health policy on population health, and a succinct summary of policy analysis and recommendations proposed.
Final slide 11 – reference slide – provide references for all citations within the presentation.
