In this discussion, answer the following items:

1. Why are representation and diversity important when providing content or messaging to media audiences and consumers?
2. Describe four international and/or intercultural differences among audiences.
3. After learning and reading about Hofstede’s cultural dimensions, can you think of a time when you encountered someone where you were at opposite ends of the continuum, for one or more of the six dimensions? If so, what cultural dimensions were they and what was that experience like? How did you navigate that situation? If you haven’t experienced this, which of the six cultural dimensions do you think would be most challenging to navigate if you traveled to a place that was at the opposite end of one of the cultural spectrum’s from what you are used to? Why do you think it would be most challenging?
4. Give three examples or methods of globalizing content for audiences.
