Argumentation explains what someone believes. Persuasion, however, takes Argumentation to a new, more level because it attempts to change another person’s opinion. Argumentation uses facts to sway the opinion of another. For example, when students walk side-by-side with their significant other in the hallway, it slows others down and people can end up tardy to class. This might even be proven if someone looked at the stats for tardies given to SE couples.Your job in this paper is to convince others to follow your views concerning a controversial topic. You will research an academic, two or more sided topic in order to promote one side of the issue as superior. The goal of this paper is to explain your argument to the reader with supporting evidence that shows your evaluation of the issue is sound and should be accepted.
