Research Question: What is the most effective method for preventing venous thromboembolism (VTE), including deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), in adults over 65 following major orthopedic surgery? Specifically, does pharmacological anticoagulation provide superior efficacy compared to intermittent pneumatic compression devices (IPCDs), or is a combination of these therapies the optimal approach for reducing the incidence, severity, and associated healthcare burden of these conditions?——–Please refer to the comprehensive guide document for further details. Ten primary research papers have been attached; select the best seven to include in the literature review. Additionally, ensure that all necessary charts and tables mentioned in the comprehensive guide are included. Use Harvard citation format according to CiteThemRight. Consult the attached PRISMA chart guide for instructions on how to create it.
For each selected research paper, create a table similar to the one shown on page 12 of the comprehensive guide. This table should include responses to the columns presented in that table, as well as responses to the prompts given in the “Discussion LO1 & LO3” section of the “Structure of the Literature Review” table found on page 2. The table must contain responses to the aforementioned prompts for all seven research papers.
