The increasing use of body cameras in law enforcement agencies has the potential to improve transparency and accountability, but it also raises concerns regarding privacy, data security, and potential misuse.
Bibliography – Submit a single Word document containing both the annotated bibliography and tentative outline of your paper for the above topic. Be sure that you collect a minimum of 12-15 articles for the annotated bibliography and create an outline of the paper with the annotated bibliography to be sure you have enough to move forward. Remember, no first/second person language in your summaries. Your summaries should be at least 150 words
Rough Draft – This is your FIRST DRAFT of your research paper for review. I am not expecting that you’ll submit what you believe is your final paper. Since this is the first draft of your paper, I will accept 8 pages instead of requiring 15 pages for the rough draft submission only. This 8 pages is not counting the title, abstract, and reference pages, though they should all be included with your rough draft submission. This means that you should have at least 8 pages of actual content. You are free to submit more. This will primarily consist of a cursory review of your paper to determine progress. I will not be reading your papers in full. Please note: Your annotated bibliography should not be included with your rough draft or final paper. The annotated bibliography was an assignment on its own to assess the sources you’d chosen to use for your paper. You only list the reference page and citations as normal for the rough draft and final paper instead of the annotated bibliography. Please also note that for your rough draft and final paper, there should be no pictures, tables, figures, or appendixes. Your verbiage/analysis is what’s needed.
