Instructions
- Write an essay of about 800-1200 words.
- Assignments must be typed in Roman/Aerial size 12-font; 1.5-line spacing.
- The cover page must have a title and your complete surname, name, and student number.
- Assignments must have a table of contents page, introduction as well as a conclusion.
- The introduction section should introduce the topic and indicate what will be discussed in the essay. For e.g. “The following discussion focuses on …” “Firstly, … secondly … and finally”.
- Headings, sub-headings) and paragraphs should be used to structure the essay.
- The conclusion section should summarise the main points from the discussion. For e.g., “Evident from the above discussion is …” /
- Additional sources should be used, where applicable. No Wikipedia, webpage citations (e.g., www.assessed.com) and “Anonymous” resources (e.g., Anon., 2019)! News articles are permitted for contemporary examples, but theoretical arguments should rely on academic sources.
- A minimum of 5 in-text references/sources
- In-text references and bibliography must be done according to the Harvard method.
- Turnitin will be used to check similarity. Only Turnitin scores displaying a blue or green flag will be marked.
- Assignments will be marked according to the following assessment rubric.
