Subject Theme “Analyse the introduction of an Information System (IS) in an organization of your choice and the importance of this initiative in a competitive business environment.” The IS should be one of the following: ❖ ERP ❖ CRM ❖ SCM ❖ E-Commerce, E-Business ❖ IoT (Internet of Things), IoE (Internet of Everything) ❖ Business Analytics & Big Data ❖ Geographic Information Systems, Autonomous ships ❖ Artificial Intelligence ❖ Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Metaverse You are free to choose any business industry (you may consider an industry related to your major). However, the business industry shall not be overly specific (e.g., a single company) or overly general (e.g., private sector). GENERAL NOTES: The normal font should be Calibri size 12, one and a half-spaced, alignment justified, it should be between 2,000-2,500 words. Submission takes place through Blackboard as a Turn-it-in assignment, and it will be carried out individually. STRUCTURE: Your paper should be categorised into sections and subsections in arithmetic order (e.g. 1 2.1 2.2.2). Your first chapter should be the prologue and the last the epilogue. Before the prologue you should have a table of contents and a table of figures. Try to organise your paper with many (sub) sections, one for each of the (sub) topics you describe. RESOURCES: Make sure that you include a bibliography page at the end of your paper. Among others, your sources must include journal, conference articles and books-publications. Referencing should follow the American Psychological Association Style (APA Style). LAYOUT: You should include a variety of figures including images, charts, graphs and others. The figures should have the role to assist your description as a visual aid.
