The standard should be cited and defined in the students’ own words. Finally, describe why the standard is a competency of counseling and how it will inform their future counseling practice. Example: 2.F.2.g
– First two digits, Always 2.F.
– 2.F.2.g refers to the fact that it is the second CACREP standard
– 2.F.2.g refers to exact competency under that standard, i.e.: the impact of spiritual beliefs on counselors’ and clients’ worldviews
