6 Journal Sources are required
Within the body of your essay be
sure to use your literature review to support your thesis statement.
You should
cite at least two different sources per essay paragraph.
Use
a Times New Roman (12 cpi font size) – nothing larger.
Double space. Have a one inch page margin.
There should be NO spaces (white space) between your essay
paragraphs. This is a waste of valuable
space.
Overall essay format: 1 title page + six full pages of essay
text + a separate section (at the end of your
essay) of cited sources (cite
only what was used in your essay).
Your title page should include: a creative title of no more
than ten words (bolded and underlined), your full
name: Alessandra Grimaldi,
the course name: Community Dentistry, the Instructors name (in this case: Dr.
Kevin Willison), and the date of submission: Feb 06, 2024. Do not include a
word count (such is useless to
me).
Do not include pictures, figures or tables in an essay. Do not use bullet points.
Do not use a header. Do not use footnotes.
Full citations (at least six different sources you have
found on your own – related to your specific topic) at the end of your essay is
expected. Do not use et al in this section. Do not use overly long http / https
links. The authors names, year of publication, journal article title, journal
article source, volume number and page numbers should all be included.
Format requirements for in-text
cited sources (within the body of your essay):
• If one
author is used in the publication you are citing: (McKenzie, 2014).
• If two
authors are used in the publication you are citing: (McKenzie and Willison,
2014).
• If three
or more authors are found within the publication you are citing: (McKenzie et
al. 2014).
• For each
of the above formats – do not include page numbers. Do not include the
publication title.
• Avoid use
of quotations.
• As well,
avoid citing the same source numerous times within any given paragraph. Doing
so is redundant and simply a very poor format.
