It is critical to learn how to do in-text citations so that you give credit to the sources you use in your writing. To neglect to do so is plagiarism.

Create your own template for all your assignments. *see example
Cover page that includes your name the assignment name, instructor name and date centered in the middle of the page.
Create a second blank page
Insert a “header” and Page numbers that start on this first page of what would be your text.
In the header put your last name followed by your first initial.
This will appear at the top of every subsequent page
Add three pages to your template
On the fifth page create a References page
Center the word References at the top
Go to the course syllabus and copy and paste the Nurturing Natures reference. However, remember that on your reference page you must use a hanging paragraph format. *see example
NOTE: References are differently formatted for different types of resources such as books, websites, and journal articles. You can easily look up the format on the web when you need the format.
