  1. Please draft up a half-page public relations announcement on an event for a new Abstract Art night at a local coffee shop.  You are going to write up an announcement inviting customers to it. It should be interesting enough to catch someone’s attention. Two paragraphs should be sufficient.  You must write 100% in your own words – very important! Do not run it through a grammar checker.  Original writing. 

  2.  Here are some details about the event – but REWRITE ALL THIS IN YOUR OWN WORDS:
    1. This event, “Learning Abstract Painting” should appeal to all ages, and will be led by a local artist.
    2. Attendees will be charged $10 and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to a charity.
    3. The event will be open to the public for one evening on February 1, 2024 from 7 – 10 pm.
    4. Attendees will be provided a sketch pad and have access to paint supplies (don’t need to bring anything).
