Topic Critique Papers: Students will read several articles/chapters for each topic we cover in class. Students are then expected to complete a short paper (1.5-3 pages, or between 300-500 words) for each topic that presents a critique of the readings, as well as implications for the strategic management of organizations for sport and physical activity. It should not contain a review of the paper. Instead, you are writing about where you see this at work and when/where it is applicable in the strategic management of sport organizations. You might write why you disagree with some of the points made or give counterexamples but try to apply the content to an organization you are familiar with. The paper should be typed, have 1.5 spacing and one-inch margins using Times New Roman font. Finally, each paper should also contain a reference list corresponding to the articles (chapters) read for the day. The references should be following the standards set forth by the American Psychological Association Publications Manual.
Topic Critique details for Hambrick, D., & Fredrickson, J. (2005). Are you sure you have a strategy? Academy of Management Executive, 19(4), 51-62.
