Please select an individual who was considered radical in their lifetime. Your choice should be from one of the chapters we have covered in this class.
Step 1:
Explain why their ideas were deemed radical in their contemporary society, what methods they employed to challenge the status quo, and who supported them (in their lifetime and in subsequent generations). Has their radicalism become more mainstream today or is their message still deemed radical?
Step 2:
Finally, if you could select one individual from the 21st century who is considered radical, but who you think will be remembered well in future generations, who is it and why do you believe history will look back on them fondly?
Step 3:
Be sure to double-space and use APA format (no need for an abstract). This assignment should be a total of 500 words in length with scholarly, academic sources utilized to complete this assignment.
I will attach the PDFs to the readings we have done since the beginning of the semester to help with the analysis of the chosen radical from our readings.
