Instructions
Write a three-to-five-page paper in APA
format 7th edition with the following sections and level 2 headings:
·
Introduction
-Brief overview of the definition of
pathophysiology
-Introduce Breast Cancer-Importance of
understanding pathophysiology
·
Literature Review
-Conduct a thorough literature review to
explore the molecular pathophysiology of Breast Cancer
-Identify and analyze peer-reviewed
articles, research studies, and/or scholarly sources to define molecular
mechanisms, genetic factors, environmental triggers, and/or immunological
pathways associated with Breast Cancer.
·
Pathogenesis
-Provide a detailed analysis of the
molecular mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis and progression of Breast
cancer. This may include genetic predisposition, dysregulation of immune
responses, cellular signaling pathways, and tissue-specific effects.
·
Clinical Correlation
-Correlate the identified molecular
pathways with the clinical manifestations and symptoms of the Breast Cancer.
-Discuss how an understanding of the
molecular pathophysiology can inform clinical assessment, diagnosis, and
treatment decisions.
·
Conclusion
-Recap points discussed in paper
-Importance of understanding
pathophysiology as an advanced practice nurse.
·
References
-Please include at least 5 references on
its own page, within the last 5 years with included in-text citations.
The purpose of this assignment is to
enhance understanding of advanced pathophysiology concepts and their
application to clinical practice, as well as to explore the latest research
findings and therapeutic implications related to breast cancer.
The objectives include critically analyzing
the molecular mechanisms underlying the development and progression of breast
cancer, evaluating the role of genetic, environmental, and immunological
factors in pathophysiology, and demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of
advanced pathophysiology concepts through the application of molecular
mechanisms to clinical manifestations of the selected disease.
RUBRIC
Paper -coherently organized. Writing clear
and concise, fluid and free from spelling and grammatical errors. Terminology
is clearly defined. Appropriate voice ( No passive).APA formatting appropriate.
·
Topic- Breast Cancer
1.
Problem
statement/ Abstract (Abs) 150-250
words). Highly informative, complete, and easy to understand (includes all key
aspects of the paper).
2.
Introduction Thesis
provides a clear and concise response to the assigned/selected topic. Organization
of the topic is completely and clearly outlined and implemented. Does not contain superfluous information.
3.
Body
Paragraphs All main points are
well-developed; and directly related to the thesis. Supporting examples are
concrete and detailed. There is a logical flow to the topics/arguments.
4.
Research
(literature review) Research selected is
highly relevant to the topic, and is properly incorporated into the body
paragraphs. The method, results, and implications are presented
accurately and completely. The relationship between research and theory
is clearly articulated and accurate The evidence comes from a wide variety of
valid sources; minimum “required” sources published within the last 5
years.
5.
Conclusion is clearly stated, and connections to the research and position are
clear and relevant. The underlying logic is explicit.
