In short-essay format (about 5 to 10 sentences), please identify and describe the variables, theory, previous research, and authors’ hypothesis(es). Please be sure to include enough detail to satisfy the following questions:
What specific VARIABLES are being examined in this research? Briefly describe each of the variables.
What is the authors’ specific THEORY about how these variables are related to each other? Is one variable believed to be the “causal” variable? Does the other variable represent the “outcome”?
What has PREVIOUS RESEARCH demonstrated about the relationship between these—or similar—variables? [Briefly summarize this info.]
What is/are the authors’ SPECIFIC HYPOTHESIS/ES (prediction of results)? Please include all.
All writing MUST be college-level: sentences must be complete and grammatically correct; wordsand terminology must be used correctly and spelled correctly; punctuation must be used correctly; and, lines must be double-spaced.
