Here is how one writes a book review, not a book report. Please read either of these two Isiguru books Klara and the Sun or Never Let Me Go. I listened to them on Audible which was also excellent and you can listen to them if your prefer over reading.
I did not order them for the bookstore to have, you can get a used copy online or as I said listen to it if you already have audible.
I will be looking for crisp and pristine writing, depth of thought, insight, nuanced use of theory and or research to produce unique ideas and viewpoints.
For this assignments, you must use the reading materials on the course newsfeed, the Erikson, the Jung, Winnicott, William James, or the Freud. Applying these classical readings will familiarize you with important psychology literature on adolescence, it will force you to apply challenging readings and for you to create a novel approach to the materials in the book you choose.
The paper should be as long as you like, but between 1500 words and 2000 is preferable.
PS fair use of AI for this project: you can use AI to find out more about how to write a book review with some analysis, that is using the theories of Freud, Winnicott, Erikson, etc embedded in your paper. It is not permissible to have AI write the paper for you. TurnitIn will tell me if you used AI and the false positive rate for the score, especially high scores, is only .07 %.
